We want to invite you to invest in one of the most beautiful rural villages of Costa Rica.
The name of this village is Bijagual, which is also the name of a plant (Bijagua, Calathea luthea) that was used by our grandmothers to wrap tamales and lunches.
Bijagual is only a 20 minute drive to the main beaches in the Central Pacific, in a valley at the top of the mountains of Carara National Park.
Bijagual is a growing town, so far it has the following services: kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, police office, health clinic, small airport, small restaurants, several mini markets, and public bus service.
There are many different organizations in charge of the development of the community, all of them led by the Association of Development of Bijagual.
We need`people that want to invest in our community, and also work with the community to help us keep our village as clean and safe as it is now.
We protect the natural resources, as well as our culture.
This town has moral rules that we want to maintain as good as possible.
We have no drugs, no prostitution, no thieves, and we want to see this community always in this way.
We know that in these times all of this is not easy, but with your help, and our effort we know it is possible. (Victor)
Come to Bijagual and enjoy Costa Rica with us.
